THE PROPOSAL
One of Claire's favorite things to do after work is to go on a walk with Gerry through their beautiful neighborhood. On June 3rd, 2026, Claire arrived home from work and was delighted when Gerry asked her to go on a walk. He led her to the beautiful duck pond, only giving it away by checking the map the whole walk, despite making this walk many times in the past. While standing under the willow tree near the edge of pond, Gerry got on one knee with tears in his eyes. Without even hearing Gerry's question, Claire said yes!! Upon arriving back home, Gerry had arranged all of our closest friends to be waiting at our house for us with pizza and bubbles (the 2nd best duo of the day)!
